Learning a new language can be challenging, but it can also be a lot of fun! At our school, our students are not only learning Chinese, but they are also enjoying the process.
One way that our students are learning Chinese is through role-play. Role-playing is an effective way to practice using the language in real-life situations. Students are able to simulate conversations and scenarios that they might encounter in their daily lives, such as ordering food at a restaurant or buying tickets at a movie theatre. This not only helps students improve their speaking skills but also boosts their confidence in using the language.
Another way that our students are learning Chinese is through music. Learning Chinese songs is a fun and interactive way to help students remember vocabulary and grammar. It's also a great way to introduce students to Chinese culture and traditions. Students enjoy singing and dancing along to the catchy tunes, which helps make the learning process more enjoyable.
Collaborative learning is also an important part of our Chinese language program. In group activities, students work together to practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This not only helps them improve their language abilities but also develops their teamwork and communication skills.
All of these methods have been helping our students make progress in their Chinese language studies. We celebrate our students' successes and achievements in class, which motivates them to continue working hard and learning more. We are proud of our students and the effort they put into learning Chinese, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.

Every year, the Educational Institute "Hellenism of Anatolia - from the Aegean Sea to Pontos", under the auspices of the Australian Federation of Pontian Associations, organises a student competition honouring the Hellenism of Anatolia. This competition is for all students who study the Greek language.
The theme of the competition is "The culture and history of the Greeks of Asia Minor". Students have the opportunity either to write an essay or draw a picture based on the topic.
The main aim of the competition is for the students to get to know Hellenism in the wider region of Asia Minor, the Pontus and Eastern Thrace and specifically its history, its culture and its contributions to the development of Greece and the formation of the national, historical and cultural identity.
We would like to congratulate all students who took part in the competition, and especially to the following students for winning:
