French News: Quoi de neuf?
Bonjour tout le monde!
Hello everyone. Today all the Year 4 students had the opportunity to participate in the annual Berthe Mouchette Poetry Competition, run by the Alliance Française de Melbourne. Over 10,000 students, from years 3 to 12, take part in this prestigious competition. The students are required to learn a poem in French and recite it to an examiner for the Alliance, via Zoom.
I was very proud of the students who participated, despite being a bit anxious orunsure. It’s a great opportunity for them to be in a friendly and relaxed examsituation, to feel nervous but to get through it anyway. The students were very excited and proud of themselves for their efforts, so as they say in France –Chapeau à tous! Hats off to you all.
