From the Principal,

Diana Ellis

On returning from leave it has been delightful to see a number of our ongoing school projects finally completed. Our students our enjoying using the new playground and also being able to play with some extra cover under our lovely bright new shade sails.

Winter weather - With the onset of wet weather well and truly upon us, I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents to enure your child/children are coming to school prepared for cold wet weather and with coats, hats etc. I also urge people to discuss flood plans including routes to get to school to pick up you child in the event of road closures near your house and for pick up routes to school. In the event of a flood situation we will send alerts via COMPASS.

Cake stall - A big thankyou to all people who made items for the cake stall. It was a roaring success and raised further funds for our school to go towards priority projects. The success of the stall was also underpinned by the parents who volunteered their time to set up the stall and sell the goods.

Mobile Phones/smart watches - Despite regular reminders to students and parents about our Mobile Phone Policy and expectations, we continue to have students choosing to breach the expectations and use their phones during school time. Phones must not be used during the school day and should be handed in to the class teacher or at the office. Students who breach the expectations will have consequences including possible confiscation of their phone. Many of the breaches, including filming are impacting on other people’s privacy
