Our Mother’s Day Stall was a tremendous success! Our students were so excited to wander the room, considering each of the gifts available on display and choosing the gift they thought their Mum or another treasured woman in their lives would treasure.
We’d like to give a massive shout-out to the wonderful volunteers that helped to run the stall so smoothly on the day, and to our grade 3 class reps that organised this event. We’d also like to thank the teachers for their assistance in helping students remain organised while they chose their special gifts.
The stall raised just over $2,000 net, which will be a valued contribution towards the much needed improvements to the school hall audio/visual system.
Our BBPS Mother’s Day Lunch at Elwood Bathers last Friday was a fabulous celebration! We enjoyed catching up for a laugh with other mums over a yummy lunch, being entertained by the MC with a unique trivia quiz, taking silly photos in the photo booth, and hearing the winners of all the prizes be called out for our annual Mother’s Day Raffle!
This event was such a huge success thanks to the mammoth effort of our organisers, Georgie and Madeleine (grade 6 class reps) and the other volunteers that supported their work. We’re also incredibly grateful to the local businesses and school families that generously donated prizes for our raffle.
Our Mother’s Day lunch and raffle raised much needed funds towards the much needed improvements to the school hall audio/visual system.
This year we’re changing up our bi-annual walkathon and adding extra fun for the kids with our first ever colour run (or walk) on Thursday 1st June. It will be a huge fun-filled day with lots of activities and every child on the day getting a prize!
All money raised will go towards a much-needed upgrade of the BBPS technology!
We’ve made it easier for parents and kids to be sponsored, with our new online platform that can be shared to get sponsors from near and far. Register your kids now www.myprofilepage.com.au and start collecting your sponsors. The more money raised, the more prizes your child will receive with every student raising over $10 getting a prize and larger amounts raised getting amazing prizes like toys, tablets, Bluetooth Airbuds, toys, drones, smart watches, scooters, bikes and more!!!
We will send out a sign-up sheet soon for parents to volunteer their support for the day of the event. Please refer to the Compass post and the attached flyer for further details.
