Armidale Eisteddfod 2023

Last week, the Armidale Eisteddfod was treated to the talents of the Ben Venue Junior Choir at Lazenby Hall on Wednesday, Ben Venue Senior Choir at NECOM on Thursday and a number of classes who competed in the choral speaking at NECOM on Friday.

All students who sang or spoke are to be highly commended. Their smart uniform, respectful behaviour and commitment to their performances were fantastic and made all teachers and school community members in attendance very proud.

Special mention must go to S3P who won their choral speaking section with a rousing rendition of "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. S3W, S2B, S1F and S1C all delighted audience members with their spirited recitals.

Next week, on Wednesday 7 June at NECOM, Eisteddfod performances continue with our First Nations Group, S3H, S3J, S2F and S2Y presenting instrumental items.
