BLUE GROUP

Blue group have been learning about Mean, Mode, Median and Range in Mathematics. The students under a time limit had to build a stack of Oreo cookies as high as they could. They then used each student scores as data put into a table and calculated the class results. They then of course enjoyed eating their Oreo towers!

Blue group Home Eco cooked spaghetti Bolognese last week, Seth was very happy with his result and all students did a great job working through measuring all ingredients and the process of cooking the sauce and pasta individually.

Blue group continue to enjoy their partnership with Centre for Participation. This term they have participated in meal delivery, art, film making and technology classes amongst others. The stand out for fun though was last Friday when they were lucky enough to enjoy the Level Up gaming experience at the Station. This included a whole heap of different consoles and games set up to play – even virtual reality headsets! Big thanks to Danielle Watts who oversees organising these amazing opportunities for our students to benefit from.

YELLOW GROUP

During the semester, yellow group students have worked constantly to move and help organise donated books for chaplaincy book fair.

This culminated with assisting staff, chaplaincy members and other students with the Thursday set up of books for the fair event.

Students have also been steadily working through the learning outcomes of their new VPC curriculum.

It has been a busy and productive semester.
