Respect, Responsibility & Resilience

What's happening in our school?

Our school is committed to delivering  the Resilience, Rights & Respectful Relationships curriculum. Respectful Relationships is an initiative to promote respect and equality. It also supports educators to teach our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

Recently Miss Basille's class have been working on Positive Coping. As children grow and develop they will encounter situations where they feel worried, nervous and sometimes even scared. Our Positive Coping lessons have been designed to help students:

-identify a range of coping strategies to help them deal with intense emotions

-identify the influence of self-talk on their actions and emotions

-identify and explain factors that influence effective communication in a variety of situations.
