Dream Big Mob Expo

By Ms Linsell - Marrung Coordinator

On 29 July, six of our Indigenous students attended The Dream Big Mob Expo at Richmond Football Club. The event was hosted by the club’s indigenous unit (Korin Gamadji Institute) and had a focus on building connections with community, inspiring young indigenous people to follow their dreams and promoting health and wellbeing.

Our students had front row seats for a Q & A session with Shai Bolton and Marlion Pickett, an inspiring talk from the club’s wellbeing and community programs Psychologist, Dr Justin Trounson, and a session on healthy eating with the club dietician. They got to have a kick and participate in some games on Punt Road Oval with 110 other indigenous students from across Victoria.
