Manic Monday

By Ms McGloin - Learning Specialist - Arts & Technology

Our rehearsals for this year's College Production ‘Grate Expectations’ are humming away nicely. With only a month to go before we are on stage, we have amped up the frequency of our rehearsals and added lunchtime rehearsals to the schedule.

This year we have the largest number of students involved in the production than we have for years. As directors – we are excited to see the show take shape on stage for our college community to enjoy.

On August the 1st the cast worked tirelessly in our 12 hour rehearsal aptly titled MANIC MONDAY. Students blocked scenes, rehearsed lines, learnt choreography, built friendships and painted sets. Thank you to all of the families who supported us as we pivoted the day and time of the event.

Tickets are on sale through TryBooking. Tickets are $12 each, and a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) - $40.

‘Grate Expectations’ is the story of Rachael, a year 12 student who is struggling to find her place – within her family, her year level and with the direction she will go when school finishes.

As we have been unable to see a production reach the stage over the past 2 years – we are thrilled to see the date approach and scenes, stories and characters shine on stage.

If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact Linda McGloin at the college.
