Teacher Aide Day

On the 2nd September we celebrated Teacher Aide Day. A huge thank-you to our teacher aides who go above and beyond each and every day for our kids, staff and each other. They are an amazing group of people and are so valued within our school.

School Support Staff Day

On Friday 9th September we said thank you to our administration staff. These ladies (among many things) keep our school running efficiently, handle a myriad of enquiries, fix the photocopier, keep the leadership team organised and greet all visitors to our school with a warm smile and make everyone feel welcome!

2023 Prep Interviews

Prep interviews are coming to an end in readiness for the 2023 school year. If you or someone you know is intending on sending their child to PBSS Prep in 2023, please contact the office on 5520 8333 to enrol and organise a mandatory interview. Interviews will be finalised within the first two weeks of term 4 and students must reside in the catchment area.

Pyjama day

This week we had a heap of fun with pyjama day! I’m sure it was appreciated by families making the morning routine a little easier being able to hop out of bed and come to school! A great day was had by all and our student council raised over $800.

Newsletter – Facebook Term 4

At our last P&C meeting it was decided that from next term, we will trial a change to our newsletter format. To make access to school information more accessible we will use a combination of newsletters and Facebook updates.

Weeks 2, 6 and 10 will be Facebook updates and newsletters being produced in weeks 4 and 8 of Term 4.

Building works

We are nearing the completion of all works associated with the new building. Over the upcoming holidays, final works to the oval and landscaping will be completed along with the installation of long jump pits. Following this work fencing will be taken down and we should have full access to the oval at the beginning of Term 4.

The work to the carpark on the corner of Lind Avenue and Townson Avenue should also be completed over the holidays.

Thank you all for another great term of learning here at Palm Beach State School. Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday break.  See you all back for the beginning of Term 4 on Tuesday 4th October.
