Premiers' Reading Challenge results

Another PRC draws to a close and what a wonderful amount of reading has taken place across our school.  Our final book tally was 8,016 books!  I would really like to thank you, families and teachers, who assist and encourage your children to read and log their books. Every student that met the Challenge by reading 30 books for PREP-2 and 15 books for Years 3 – 6 will receive a special certificate from the Premier of Victoria next Term.

We had some outstanding results which we have recognised today at our Assembly:

Prep to Year 2

Prep 2 and 2/18 read the highest amount of books as a class.

Students of particular note for reading an outstanding number of books: Jayden E, Finn T and Jordan W

Year 3 to Year 6

3/22, 4/26 and 5/11 read the highest amount of books as a class.

Students of particular note for reading an outstanding number of books: Levi G, Blake Q, Liam D, Reese C, Chad L, Scarlett H, Hayley K and Connor S.

BOOK WEEK ART ON DISPLAY AT KARINGAL HUB SHOPPING CENTRE

Our amazing Book Week artwork will be on display until this Monday 19 September.  If you get a chance, pop by and take a look!  Mr Barren went to have a look last week on our Curriculum Day and spotted Tom 1/13 and Georgia 3/22.
