The Sydenham and Kings Park libraries recently ran an Encyclopedia Britannica Scavenger Hunt competition.

Congratulations to the following winners: George McFarlane, 8E1 and Carla Beeg, XB1 and Jenny Bui, 9C4.  The winners will select 5 book titles of their choice.

Children's Book Council of Australia 2022 book award winners.

Each year, the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) awards books of literary merit and outstanding contribution to Australian children's literature.   This year's theme was Dreaming with eyes open...

Winner for the book of the year for older readers was Tiger Daughter by Rebecca Lim  

Winner for the book of the year for younger readers was A Glasshouse of Stars by Shirley Marr

Laptop donation

As part of our partnership with Western Chances, we have received a generous donation of 15 laptops from a fantastic local company, Cookers. These laptops have been re-homed to hard working students who appreciate a little financial help, to provide them with the means to better access their learning and achieve what we all know they are capable of. 

To the students, keep up the good work and take advantage of every opportunity given to you.

To Western Chances and Cookers, a huge thank you. The students and the school as a whole are so thankful for what you've done for us.
