2023 NAPLAN

Over the last week Year 9 students participated in NAPLAN. Students worked well during this time and gave each assessment their best go. The Wurrin Hub Team would like to say a big thank you to all staff who helped out and to all students for showing resilience and respect during their participation of NAPLAN.

To congratulate the students on completing NAPLAN, the Year 7, 8 and 9 Hubs had a sausage sizzle for the students.

Congratulations to all!

Year 8 Medieval History Incursion

Students have been studying Medieval Society in Year 8 Humanities. Our College has been successful in obtaining the services of Medieval Education and Entertainment for a fun filled day for our Year 8 Students to be held Tuesday 4th April.

Your student will be able to participate in a range of activities such as: crime and punishment, weapons and armour, fashion and dress, tournament and games from Medieval times. This is an 'opt in' event with a cost of $10 for those who wish to participate and normal classes will run for those students who don't wish to participate.

Riviera Secondary Schools ASF (Australian Simulated Field) Championship.

On Tuesday 14th March seven Year 8 to 11 students from our College attended the Riviera Secondary Schools ASF (Australian Simulated Field) Championship.  Our students competed against other schools from across the state. The students finished a respectable 3rd place and they had a great day.  The students should be very pleased with their performance and how they conducted themselves.  They did themselves and our College proud.  Well done.
