Ways to Wellbeing

Welcome to this issue of Ways to Wellbeing. We hope that we can provide parents and students with some helpful tools, articles and information to assist in establishing and maintaining positive wellbeing. The past few years have been difficult ones for us all. Floods, drought, fire and COVID have all contributed to a sense of helplessness and hopelessness at some point or another.

We have seen a significant rise in mental health issues in our young people, with the 2020-2021 National Study of Mental Health and Wellbeing stating that 39.6% of young people between the ages of 15 – 24 had a 12-month mental health disorder.

In this issue, we would like to assist parents and carers by providing you with some helpful resources to aid in supporting the mental health of our young people.

Ways you can help your child with their mental health.
