Stage 4 Music

Year 7 Music have been developing their skills in ensemble performance and have successfully composed their own pieces for African Drums during term 1. The students needed to demonstrate their understanding of note values and correctly write these using traditional notation. All the classes have done a fantastic job. Here are some photos from 7G’s finished performances.

Languages - Stage 5

Year 10 have been learning how to write letters in Japanese and have written letters to hypothetical prospective host families. In their letters, they introduce information about themselves, talk about school and their families. Their work was fantastic to read!

Extra Curricular

The Drama department is excited to announce the cast of the school production, Bathory Begins by Emme Hoy and Gretel Vella.

Year 10 Art teacher Mrs Bathory is most definitely a reincarnation of the sadistic, serial-killer Countess, Erzebet Báthory. It’s pretty obvious to her class of seven —yes, seven — girls. The last remaining survivors. When the students in 10F decide to pull the prank of the century and destroy the beast for good, there’s just one thing that stands in their way. The private school boys from Judas Gents have arrived, and they don’t feel so comfortable with murder.

Girls vs. boys. Public vs. private… And an undead woman of the night. Things were never going to end well.
