Inquiry Based Learning

This term our whole school inquiry learning concept is Change.  This unit is a geography based unit in which students will develop an understanding of our ever-changing world.  Throughout this unit students will explore and investigate how our environment changes as our place in the world changes.  As a school we have been investigating the inquiry question: Why do places change?

In Foundation the students are learning about the different people and places within our school and church.  The students have been learning about the location and purpose of important places within out school.

In Year 1 and 2 the students are learning about different places within our community.

In Year 3 and 4 the students have been learning about the places within Australia.  The students have created posters to showcase their learning. 

In Year 5 and 6 the students have been describing the geographical features of places within Australia. The students have created information posters and brochures to present their learning.
