Recently Eirene, Milla, Catherine and Ellie qualified to swim in the Northern Peninsula Swimming carnival at YAWA in Rosebud. Our girls were amazing, swimming their best and encouraging each other. They competed in individual events and a freestyle relay together. The results were as follows:
Eirene – free 2nd and back 6th
Milla – free 6th
Catherine – back 6th
Ellie, Milla, Catherine and Eirene - 4 x 50m free relay - 11 yr girls. 4th
A big thank you to their parents who went with them and supported them on the day.
This year we will be running a St Brendan’s Athletics Day on Wednesday 22nd March. This will be a house event and will give all of our students the opportunity to participate in track and field events. It will also allow me the opportunity to select an Athletics Team to represent St Brendan's at the Bayside District Athletics Carnival on Friday 31st March.
Students will be practicing all Athletics events during Physical Education lessons.
We are still looking for parent helpers. If you are able to assist on the day please let Mrs Seaburgh know. Thank you.
