Our first meeting of the new council is on Monday 20th March at 6pm.  At this meeting, the Annual Report will be tabled. Community members are welcome to attend the tabling of the Annual Report, please let the office know if you will be attending. Once finalised the Annual Report will be made available to the school community via the website and our newsletter.

Evacuation and Lockdown Drill

On Wednesday we conducted our first evacuation drill and lockdown for the year. This drill involved an alarm sounding and all children evacuating their buildings and assembling at the back of the oval. We also practiced our lockdown procedure where children remain in their classrooms.  We practice these drills throughout the year.  The next drill will be an off-site drill where all students will assemble at Gerry Green oval.   Following the drills, all staff evaluate the effectiveness of the drill and make any relevant suggestions for future drills.

Building Works – Restumping Grade 2 Building

We have been advised that the restumping of the Grade 2 building will be begin on Friday 17th March. This will impact the access to the OSHC building and the Grade 2 building.  The side entrance at the side of the Grade 2 building will not be accessible.  Parents will need to access the OSHC building via the front gates and quadrangle.  Communication was sent via Compass for parents of Grade 2 students regarding the relocating of grades. The works should be completed by the end of the term.
