Year 5

Camp fun.

On the 27th of February the Year 5 students at Bimbadeen Heights went on a CYC city camp.

We had an amazing time and we went on amazing adventures. Some of the places we visited were The Old Melbourne Gaol, Aquarium, ACMI, Shrine of Remembrance, Bowling, Queen Victoria Markets and Botanical gardens. We did a lot of walking around the city, where we walked 15km one day.

From all this this hard work in walking the teachers decided to treat us to a McDonald’s ice-cream which was amazing.

We all loved spending our hard earned $20 on amazing ornaments and items at the Queen VIC Market. After an exhausting few days we went back to our hotel for a movie night on Monday and a Trivia Night on Tuesday. Catching the public transport in and out of the city was a great experience although it took some time. Overall it was a great experience for all of us.

We all had a great time and couldn’t help but to chat our parents’ ears off by telling them all about the adventure.
