Year 11 PDHPE

On Monday, 6th March our Year 11 PDHPE students had an exciting and energizing experience as they visited Katoomba Leisure Centre to attend a Body Pump class.

The class was led by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor who guided our students through a series of exercises aimed at building muscular endurance and strength. We were able to adjust the weights on our barbells to suit our individual fitness levels, which made the workout both challenging and achievable. Throughout the class, we worked on a variety of exercises, from squats and lunges to chest presses and bicep curls. The class was fast-paced and fun, and before we knew it, we had completed a full-body workout.

Not only did the students have a great time and get a good workout, but they also learned about the importance of resistance training for overall health and wellness. They discovered that building muscle can help increase metabolism, prevent injury, and improve posture.

Overall, the Year 11 PDHPE students had a fantastic time at the Katoomba Leisure Centre, and we are grateful for the opportunity to attend such an excellent class. We hope that this experience will encourage our students to continue incorporating fitness activities into their everyday routines and lead healthy, active lives.
