Year 6 Camp
Dear community,
At St Andrews, our staff are passionate about educating to impact young lives for Christ. I love hearing stories about how God is actively at work here at the College and I’d like to share with you a story of one of our students who recently came back from Year 6 camp:
Camp Kangaroobie was such an amazing journey! Building huts, playing bush games, Mugby, game nights, Gaga Ball and so many more I can list. It was truly an amazing experience.
Camp brought a lot of good friendships closer. I even became friends with many people I never really hung out with and friends I never knew I had such a huge impact on.
We encountered God every night where we had devotions with the teachers and our friends. After camp when I saw all of my friends and my parents, I didn’t know I would need and miss them so much. Camp taught me so many things and you wouldn’t know until you experience it. So in the end, thank you to everyone: my friends, teachers and family - You don’t know how much of an impact you’ve had on my life!
A big thank you to our Year 6 teachers, Mr Sheahan and Mrs Provis for their leadership. Also a thank you to the wonderful support staff who served on the camp: Mr Mellody, Mrs Cloete, Mrs Terrington and Mr Lee. Let’s continue give God all the glory for the incredible work that He is doing in the lives of the young people at St Andrews Christian College!

On Monday 12 September Year 8 Middle School student leaders from Waverley Christian College, Flinders Christian College, Heatherton Christian College and St Andrews Christian College participated in a Leadership training day in Melbourne. Students were involved in an amazing race style challenge that involved solving clues and codes to get to various venues around the City. Students were challenged about the characteristics of leadership as they had to work as a team to problem solve, push through challenges and overcome setbacks as they collected clues on their journey.
