Extra Curricular Activities

Chess 

On Tuesday last week our Primary Girls’ Chess Team participated in the State Chess Final.  The team comprising Shalese Teo, Kelly Ta, Roselyn Kho, Irena Tan, Allison Lam and Laura Hooi had a successful day ending up in third position at the end of 7 rounds of competition.

The girls have performed well all year and this was a great climax to their year of competition.  Well done girls!

We have many new players coming up and who will be entering competitions next year.

Our Primary Open Chess team are participating in the State Chess Semi Final next week. We wish them every success in this event.

A reminder that that the Chess Club runs every Wednesday afternoon and it is a great activity for students to be involved with and there is the opportunity to compete against other schools.
