Year 11 Drama performance- 12 November, Performer’s Precinct

During semester two, students created an extended piece of theatre, exploring theatre style and the theme of Australian Immigration ,  as part of the unit tile,  Unit 2 Drama – Australian Identity, Using Australia as inspiration

We focused on, Australia – The Immigrant Experience, using ‘The Arrival’ by Shaun Tan, and personal histories  as stimulus. The process included interviews, research, creating both real and imagined characters and using various performance spaces, including our own ampi-theatre.
