Wellbeing Programs
No Bull
NO BULL was presented to all year 7 students on Monday 29th August; in periods 3 and 4, in the Multi Function Centre.
No Bull was a vibrant and energetic presentation that promotes a culture with young people on a message and a social movement against the culture of bullying. The “No Bull” presenters engaged year 7 students through, song, dance and powerful to inspire students to thinking of their own self worth and self esteem to influence others in a positive way.
This program was seen as a great success; with students singing and dancing along with the presentations by No Bull members. No Bull’s program mandate is to see the culture of bullying shifted within teenagers and high school communities across Australia. The school’s vision is to open teenagers to the understanding that they are the greatest part of the solution to bullying and to activate and empower them to bring about change.
The No Bull program was an effective way in communicating a message of change to every student present. The aim of the session was to bring teenagers into an understanding that they can be part of the solution to bullying and to activate and empower teenagers to become part of that solution.
