Safety First - Year 7 Woodwork

Each year in Woodwork and at each year level the first topic is Safety. For the year 7’s it is mostly the first time they will use the equipment. For older students, safety is a revision and consolidation of what they have learnt. Safety glasses, ear muffs and aprons are on hand. All students with long hair were given a hair net to keep and use when needed.  After class safety activities, a handout was to be taken home and signed by parents so they could, if needed, talk with their child about any concerns.
