Judy Allen Award Winner

Congratulations to the winner of this year's Judy Allen Award, our PFA President, Kirsten Brooks.

Kirsten has been a member of our community since 2013. A tireless volunteer and ambassador for the School, and advocate for parents and students, she has overseen the growth in volunteer recruitment and the establishment of a number of new events at the School including Mother’s Day breakfast, Father’s Day Stall, Staff thank you morning teas and Year 7 Transition at the Park event.

She is a constant presence at our Open Mornings, Parent Information Nights and Parent Morning Teas racking up hours and hours of her time to represent the unique and important parent perspective.

Ever the agent for inclusivity, our biennial community event, the Kilvington Fair, has become a showcase for cultural diversity and a community at its best under her guidance and leadership.

With the support of the extraordinary parents she leads as President of the Parent and Friends Association, more than $100K has been donated to our new Sport Centre; the largest contributor to our most successful capital appeal on record.

Kirsten epitomises volunteering at its best; representing the interests of her community with a generosity of spirit, great energy and always a big smile.

Kilvonian Konnections

On 14 November, we held our all-peer annual event, Kilvonian Konnections, and were delighted with the number of former students and staff who attended and supported the event.

Special highlight was guest speaker Natalie Klenner (peer year 2011), CEO of Game Changers Australia, who inspired us all with her commitment to developing leadership skills in young people through sport.
