STEM Update

We had an action-packed start to Digital Tech last week. Our new Preps pulled apart a laptop to learn all about how it works, and then, as I am such a generous guy, I gave them all their own laptops! (sure, they had to put them together, and they were made of paper, but you gotta' start somewhere)

Our junior students began to learn about how computers can read and send data (and we went on a QR scavenger hunt of course)

Our middle years' students learnt all about creating multitrack digital music recordings using loops and samples, which you may hear soon (coming to a morning school bell near you)

And finally, our senior students put on their engineering hats to do some 3D modelling to print out (and compete) in a Rocket showdown.
