RESPECTFUL RELATIONS

At KSC we are very proud to be a lead school of the Respectful Relationships initiative. Respectful Relationships is both something we teach, and something we live every day at KSC. The Respectful Relationships initiative was implemented in response to the royal commission into family violence and has two components. There is a curriculum component that is currently taught through our ACE and Health classes, and a whole school approach which is what we live and breathe each day.

Our students have taken initiative in this area and, led ably by our school captains, they have formed a student diversity group. This group will help the school to recognise days and events that celebrate individuality and promote acceptance of diversity in our community, including cultural, gender, sexual and neurological diversity. We are proud of our students and student leaders who are so passionate about promoting acceptance and tolerance.
