Reminder - School Council Nominations Close Today!

As shared in last week’s newsletter, I am calling for Parent/Carer nominations for School Council. Please ensure nominations are submitted to the office or directly to my email christian.holdsworth@education.vic.gov.au by CoB today. Many thanks. 

 School Facilities Update – Carpet, Asphalt, Furniture and More!

Late in Term 4, over the school holidays and in our first few weeks of school we have been enhancing our learning environment with:

• New classroom furniture in Prep (classrooms), the Library, Year 1 (common areas), Year 3 (common areas), and Year 4 (MAH)
• New carpeting in the Library, Prep, Year 1, and the Visual Arts Room
• A renovation to the Yarrunga Reserve entrance and path

In the coming weeks, we will have completed these projects with: 

• New cabinetry in Year 1, Prep, and Visual Arts Room 2 (Pavillion)
• Completion of the Yarrunga Reserve entrance gardens
• Vinyl flooring installed in Visual Arts Room 2 (Pavillion)

We welcome families to explore these spaces in their next visit to the school.

Excess Furniture

As a result of the furniture upgrades the school has a number of items free for collection. Please announce yourself at the office prior to taking your pick from the items near Gate 2.
