MANY CULTURES, ONE COMMUNITY

The Welcome Party is a night full of fun and fellowship with our school community. We’re back in 2023 and ready to celebrate by bringing our community together and welcoming our new Curiosity and school families. This year’s theme is Many Cultures, One Community.

Please come and celebrate your family’s culture and come in your cultural dress. We encourage everyone to dress up with kids and adults’ prizes for best dress.

TICKETS ON SALE NOW, and close this coming Tuesday 21st February.

The Welcome Party is a big school community event so please purchase your tickets on QKR! as soon as you can. 

Tickets need to be purchased for all children aged 3-14 and all adults. Only one order per family required under eldest child’s name. Kids tickets include the kids zone wristbands and are required for EACH child 3-14 years old.

These events come together with the help of volunteers from our wonderful community. When you purchase your tickets, please nominate if you can help on the night for a 45 minute allocation. The more volunteers we can have, the more we can share the load and ensure it’s an enjoyable night for everyone. All volunteers are entered into the volunteer raffle for your support.

We’re looking forward to another amazing Welcome Party to kick off our new year and celebrate our wonderful school community. Bring your picnic chairs, rugs, food and eskies. Setup on the school oval and enjoy all the fun to be had.

Welcome Party Raffle

We have an amazing list of sponsors who have generously donated lots of great prizes to be won in the Welcome Party raffle.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and are on sale via QKR! and the front office – cash or EFTPOS. There will also be an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets on the night.

Clean Up Australia Day - Save the Date

Join our Curiosity community as we clean up Deborah Grove, our beloved place to explore nature.

Where:  Meet at Curiosity for a 9:30am start

When:  Friday, March 3rd

Who:  All family members.  Younger siblings must be supervised by parents please.  Children who are not toilet trained will be given the opportunity to explore caring for our Centre garden, stick insects and worm farm onsite.

Can't make it:  No worries, feel free to clean up one of your local areas and send us a photo on Storypark of your amazing team work!
