Junior School

The Prep students have settled beautifully into the rhythms and routines of school life!

We have been discussing how to keep our classroom neat and organised, how to sit at our desks correctly when it's writing time, how to use kind words to show that we are caring about each other and also what games we can play during outside play times.

We have enjoyed two buddy sessions with our Grade 5 Buddies so far and it has been wonderful to have witnessed some lovely connections and moments between the older and younger students.

Our Inquiry investigation this term is all about Families, so we have been brainstorming and sharing what knowledge we all have about different types of families, where people come from around the world, what sort of dwellings people live in and what families enjoy doing together.

A highlight of our first few weeks at school was watching the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly, form egg to caterpillar to pupa to butterfly. What an amazing experience it has been!
