St Philomena's Swimming Carnival
On Wednesday 8 February, we held our St Philomena's 3-10 Swimming Carnival in Warialda. It was such an amazing day with students showing off their exceptional sportsmanship and swimming skills. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying a day out in Warialda!
To everyone who helped make the carnival such a success - the students, staff, volunteers and families, thank you!
Congratulations to everyone who participated and contributed towards house points. It is fabulous to be part of a school community where everyone is willing to try their best. The following students were outstanding in the pool and were awarded Champion and Runner Up on the day:
Our St Philomena's Primary Swim Team will travel to Gunnedah on Friday 24 February and our Secondary Swim Team will travel to Gunnedah on Thursday 9th March to compete at the Diocesan Swimming Carnivals. Goodluck to all swimmers!
NSW Waratahs Rugby Union Visit
On Friday 10 February, St Philomena's were lucky enough to have NSW Waratahs visit to conduct a fun skills based morning with Stage 3. Students had a great morning participating in drills, games and a chat with the players.
