Introducing 2023 Year 6 Leaders

It is a pleasure to introduce the 2023 Year Six Student Leaders. As we approach the end of Week 4, our leaders have already been busy. They have hosted the first whole school assembly of the year and presented awards (Yard Stars and our brand new Golden Bin Award) at subsequent assemblies. Work has also begun on the next Inside Magill instalment of Positron Vs Negatron. They are an enthusiastic and hard-working group of young leaders and will be a positive presence at Magill this year.

The Student Action Team Reps will be meeting weekly this year as it gives more opportunity for students’ voices to be heard. Next week our reps will be looking at classroom meeting minutes to determine what areas of school life need the most attention. Stay tuned for future updates!

Lunch Clubs

Finally, our lunch clubs are up and running: we have a variety of activities for children to engage in from the ever-popular lunchtime disco, to giant chess, games, dance, Lego and more. We expect to be able to offer a wider variety of activities as the actions teams plan for continued improvement for our students here at Magill so watch this space!
