Term 3 Week 4 Report

Our PBIS Blitz for the  Week 3 and 4 is “Putting rubbish in the correct bins”

Putting rubbish in the correct bins helps our environment.  When you put rubbish in the correct bins, you are helping in many different ways.  From not contaminating recyclables to ensuring that we are saving rubbish from going into landfill.

Keep up the hard work, we can make a difference.

Some more reminders about how to keep our school looking beautiful:

- Please finish eating your recess and lunch at the eating tables.

- We also have a rule at St Mary’s that you don’t take your food onto the oval or the multi-purpose area.

Week 4 Term 3 PBIS Award Winner

Our PBIS student of the week is from the 3/4 Area

Mrs Brown thinks that this student is a superstar when it comes to keeping our classroom neat and tidy.  This student is showing responsibility by putting his rubbish in the correct bins.  Well done and keep up the great work Deng Dang.

Congratulations Deng Dang on being our PBIS Student Of the Week!

Term 3 Week 5 Report

Our PBIS Blitz for the last 2 weeks has been “Using the correct bin”.  Let’s try to keep using the bins for all the different types of waste we have.  If you see a need, do the deed, in other words, if you see rubbish on the ground, pick it up, even if it’s not yours.

Our blitz for Week 6 and 7 will be “Eating respectfully”

Some of the teachers have noticed that during eating time in the classrooms, students are not sitting down at their tables to enjoy their lunch.  Other behaviours that the teachers are seeing are:

Students walking around outside eating food.

Talking when we have food in our mouth.

Throwing out food that hasn’t been eaten.

Please remember to sit down in your seat when eating.  If you have not finished your food in class, you will need to finish it at the eating tables.

It is also good manners to talk to your friends without food in your mouth.

Thankyou and we hope to see people eating respectfully within our classrooms.

We would now like to present the winning grade level after the first 5 weeks of Term 3.

Week 5 Term 3 PBIS Award Winner

Our PBIS student of the week is from the 5/6 Area.

The teachers think this student is a wonderful leader in the 5/6 area, he has amazing manners and is such a positive person to be around.  This student is able to see a need and do something about it and it’s great to see he is confident within himself to stand up for what he thinks is right.  Thankyou for being such a fantastic role model to the students at St Mary’s. Keep up the great work Kade James!

Congratulations Kade James on being our PBIS Student Of the Week!
