Health & Physical Education – Junior School

Health & Physical Education in the Junior School during second term was eventful. Students continued reviewing the Expectations Matrix and recognition was given when the values were applied. They learnt about the importance of working as a team and being supportive of each other.

Students understood the benefits of warm ups before a game. Activities included yoga and minor games. They also learnt about following rules of major games such as Poison Ball and Tunnel Ball. Students continued to learn about their health and wellbeing through discussions and meditation.

Health & Physical Education – Senior School

In the Senior School, Year 5/6 students organised a School Sports Day for the whole school. There were lots of different activities including skipping, soccer penalties, rounders, Capture the Flag and an obstacle course.

Everyone was highly engaged and a number of students were awarded certificates for showing our school values- Respect, Courage and Empathy on the day. The 5/6s showed excellent leadership and provided great encouragement to all. It was a fantastic day and we look forward to the next one. Well done!
