Year 7 Boy's Cricket

Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Year 7 boys for their participation in the Rosehill Secondary College Junior Boys Cricket Team on Monday 18th March.

Whilst we didn't win the day overall, the boys represented the school with pride and displayed the College value of respect at all times. For some students it was their first time playing a real game of cricket and for others it was a chance to hone in on their skills.  There were some outstanding batting, bowling, fielding and catching on display, but above all, it was pleasing to see so many smiling faces and new friendships formed.

Best players with the bat were Christian Caluzzi and Jake Russo.  Best bowlers were Jonty Walsh and Ryan Rutledge.  The player of the day was our captain, Aarav Saxena.

Hopefully they can go one better in Year 8.
