Hi, my name is Solange Nancarrow and I’m your new PE and STEAM teacher.

I am so excited to be a part of the Weeden Heights community and have enjoyed getting to know everyone. I have a strong focus on team work, hands on learning and having curious minds. I look forward to developing these attributes together throughout the year.

About me:

I have a lovely husband named Justin, a fabulous 5 year old named Olivia and lots of pets.

I love to read, watch movies and travel. I particularly enjoy books about crime and thrillers; I love all sorts of movies but my favourite is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original version); I love to travel and experience the many diverse cultures.

My family and I love to go for bike rides, take the dogs for a walk and go camping in our caravan.

Sport: I love to ski, I used to play hockey and indoor soccer. I enjoy watching lots of sports, in particular AFL and soccer. I go for Hawthorn and I am a member of the Melbourne City football club.
