Trivia Night on 19th July

The Trivia Night is starting to come together and what we need now is.... people.

So reserve your tickets, better still arrange a table, and book on the TryBooking site. Let's get there as it will be a great night. A professional trivia host has been booked and lots of prizes are being collected. The theme is Christmas in July, so all those ugly Christmas jumpers can get an airing.

Parent Feedback Box

Every year the Jells Park parent community get a chance to give their views on  a variety of topics concerning the school through the Parent Opinion Survey. This will be coming up in Term 3.

In the meantime I have been looking at the data from 2018 and there are a couple of items that I need more information on.

There was a relatively low response to the category - General School Improvement. However, I am not entirely sure what this is in reference too. Similarly the category - Effective Teaching. Once again, what aspect of the teaching are parents concerned about?

So, if you have comment about either of these, or any other topic, I have placed a Feedback Box in the office foyer. Please feel free to provide feedback, named or anonymous, into the box and I will endeavour to address each issue as it arises. I cannot guarantee action on everything, but I will give each item of feedback due consideration.

Helping Hand Bottle Cap drive

Want to get some extra Bottle tops for recycling?? Well Emilie K. in 1W, had a great idea. They visited their local 7-Eleven and asked them to collect caps for them. 7-Eleven use over 300 litres of milk a day, so that is a lot of caps!! Emilie is doing her bit for the environment and helping students in war torn countries have a better way of life. Well done.

And how creative of the Level  5 students that went to Somers Camp who collected all the caps from the milk while they were there - another 500 caps to the Level 5 collection.
