ODE & Environmental Studies

Our Year 10 Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies class has now come to the end of their studies for 2018. The year has seen us venture across the state, participating in various hikes, camps, sailing and orienteering excursions.

Our final trip for the year was to Apollo Bay, where we started the Great Ocean Walk. Our students hiked 25km over two days, with an overnight camp by the water at Blanket Bay.

All of our students faced physical challenges, some steep climbs and quite a lot of mud! Nonetheless, everybody successfully completed the trip, experienced a range of new environments and spent some time in some truly stunning landscapes.

Many of our students are continuing with Outdoor Education next year, through either the VCE or VCAL pathways, and we wish them all the best with their future studies, experiences and excursions!
