Free Hat Friday's

Last Friday (17th June) we kicked off our first - Free Hat Friday!  Our second and final Free Hat Friday will be tomorrow 24th June. Our St Ed’s Mini Vinnies students are raising money for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.

This means students can wear a hat of their choice (leaving their school hat at home) and are also asked to bring a gold coin donation to support this worthy course.

St. Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal - PJ Day

Thank you for your support with our "Hat Free Fridays", raising money for the St. Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. Thousands of families in our country need your help to stay warm and fed this winter. Every little bit helps!

Our annual PJ Day will be held next Wednesday 29th June and all students are encouraged to wear their PJ's, Oodie, Onesie and/or dressing gown to school. Please ensure you send in a gold coin and students wear sensible closed in shoes for outside play.

Grandparents' Day - Tuesday 26th July

We would love to invite all of our Nans, Pops, Grans and Grandpas to come along and join us on this special day where we have the opportunity to celebrate and give thanks to God for these special people in our lives. Our whole school celebration (K-6) will be held at the PRIMARY Campus and will begin with a liturgy at 10.15am in the Primary Hall, followed by morning tea in the grounds. We hope you are able to join us!

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data

Each year schools in Australia participate in the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) to collect data on Students with Disabilities. This process involves schools providing information about:

  • Year of schooling
  • Category of disability
  • Level of adjustment provided to the student.

This data provides the state and federal governments with information to plan support for students with disabilities.

The fact sheet below provides more detailed information about the process. If you have any questions about the NCCD, please contact Amanda Sheridan.

Absentee Notes

Please remember that all absences must be explained within 7 days of your child being away.  You will receive an automated SMS message at 10.00am on the day to remind you to explain the absence on the Parent Compass Portal.

Join the St Edward's Playgroup!

Our St Ed's Playgroup is held each Tuesday of term from 10am-12 noon in the Infants Hall. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents with toddlers who are preparing to enter Kindergarten. We will be gathering together for social events, and we'll also have learning opportunities so you can get ready for big school! The playgroup is a great way to make friends, and it's also a valuable resource for getting information about our school. Information sessions plus coffee and cake will be the order of the day, as well as fun activities for the active toddler. Interested? Please contact our newly appointed Playgroup Co-ordinator (and early childhood expert), Mrs Candice Lamb, on 0402 700 039 or candicelamb24@gmail.com
