It’s time to shine a light on our unsung education heroes.
We all know someone who just gets on with their work, day-in-day-out, dedicating themselves to their students, and always thinking of a better way to teach and learn. Well, it’s time to reward them for their efforts. To say thanks for everything and tell them how exceptional they are.
Nominations are now open for the 2022 NEiTA Awards.

What happens if your unsung hero wins...?
Award winners receive a professional development grant of up to $10,000 to further their career and find ways to help their students reach their potential. They’ll be honoured in a virtual awards ceremony and be invited to meet and network with the other recipients and NEiTA alumni. Most importantly, they’ll know they’re appreciated, noticed, and that we’re all truly thankful for what they do. https://www.neita.com/awards-2022
We are continuously working together to ensure a smooth drop off and pick up for our students, during the new JY building process. The College has sought the advice of traffic engineers and the local council to assist with traffic engineering during this time.
It is however, very disappointing to hear reports that our staff have been subject to behaviour that is outside of our College values. Can we please remind parents that we have a joint responsibility to ensure the safety and welfare of our students? Our yard duty teachers are doing their best and the College has a zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour towards our staff. We have a Parent Code of Conduct and expect all parents to support this.
Please refrain from parking in any reserved carparks, double parking, or parking in drop off zones and leaving your vehicle.
Front carpark – Prep pick up
Please be advised that the carpark outside of the admin building is one way. We have repainted the lines to ensure that parents are aware of the entry and exit process. Parents cannot double park. We all agree that student safety is paramount.
Update - Rear pick up
Please be reminded that you cannot park in the middle of the carpark.
Students cannot access pick up without appropriate crossing and parents parking in the middle is compromising this. We are not allowing students to walk across the gravel or be escorted by parents. We understand that the current situation is time consuming but we ask that you support the College and remain respectful of our staff at all times.
