Term 2 Activities
Hi All,
With winter starting so has the cold and wet weather, but we have been able to do a few things inside in the warm. We were able to acknowledge Sorry Day and pay respect to the First Nations Peoples of this land by watching a short film to explain what the significance of Sorry Day means, then we did a colouring competition of some posters together. All boarders did a great job. Then with that momentum, we were able to celebrate National Reconciliation Week in the same fashion by watching some short clips to gain an understanding of what the week means with another art competition which all boarders enjoyed. We have been using the Kildare Hall when available to play some fun games indoors.
The Boarders have been very lucky with the weather on Wednesday afternoon by still being able to walk downtown to get some essentials and even a treat for themselves.
Also, we would like to invite you to look at our Facebook page “Mount Erin Boarding” where we have been posting more photos.
