Year 8 News 

YEAR 8 CAMP - MACEDON

Last week, the Year 8 City Discovery Camp kicked off with the Macedon students being the first group to experience three days in Melbourne’s CBD, and discovering why ‘Melbourne is the city of…………. !  

Students had a terrific time exploring the sights and representing the Vermont values to the fullest as they made their way through multiple tours, rock climbed, visited Eureka Tower, had aquatic adventures at MSAC and explored the Queen Victoria Market. Students and staff navigated their way around the city using public transport and walking kilometres of city lanes and streets, so that by the end of the camp everyone had become Melbourne experts with tired feet. 😊 Lots of photos were taken and many new Macedon friends made. 

The attitude and effort of all students was outstanding. 

Big thanks to the students who attended, the teachers who led the groups, as well as our Junior Programs Team for their efforts in putting such a diverse experience together.
