Sustainability Corner

Hey Ripper Families,

You will have noticed our logo in the Sustainability section of the newsletter has changed.

This is our FABULOUS new Green Team logo, which was designed by previous RPS students (unfortunately due to lockdown we were unable to launch it to the community).

But we’re back now, with more force and drive than ever!

We hope you love it as much as we do.

This week saw garlic being planted in our sustainability garden for the first time! Another great addition to our ever-growing garden patch, which will hopefully be ready for harvest later in the year!

In addition, the Lil' Rippers have seen the first implementation of our commitment to compositing, with all 3/4 classes participating in our first compositing trial. Two monitors have been selected from each class to fill and collect the compost caddies from their classrooms daily while we are all learning what IS and ISN'T compostable.
