Hays Paddock Playground - update from Council

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback to City of Boroondara in late-2021 and early-2022 about the proposed renewal works for this iconic playground.

Hays Paddock was one of the first inclusive playgrounds in Australia – a real trailblazer for its time. Inclusion and ‘side-by-side’ play for children of all abilities are key features of this playground. City of Boroondara wants to ensure any renewal works result in a playground which continues to welcome everyone.

Draft concept designs will be released in early July 2022 for community feedback. You are invited to share your feedback, based on your family’s needs and lived experience. Visit www.engage.boroondara.vic.gov.au/hays-paddock-playground

Disability Action Plan - City of Boroondara

The City of Boroondara is refreshing its Disability Action Plan to make sure it meets the needs of our community and identifies opportunities to improve inclusion and access for people with disability.

The City of Boroondara want to hear from people with disability, their families, carers, advocates, educators, employers and, health professionals in the disability sector. 

The Council’s community survey is now open and closes 1 July. There are multiple ways to provide feedback to support everyone having their say. Have your say here.
