EAL Program

Students who are a part of Warrnambool Primary's EAL program have created posters containing facts and information about their cultures. The posters represent the cultural diversity in our multicultural school.

The students presented their posters at the school assembly last week. All of the posters will be displayed in the EAL room in the BER building.

Well done to all the students who participated.

Personal Development Sessions in Year 3/4

In Term 3, we will be conducting Personal Development sessions with all Year 3/4 students. Leanne O'Connor, Registered Nurse/Midwife will again facilitate these sessions. Leanne has been employed by Warrnambool Primary School since 2013 and runs sessions in other local Primary schools.

Leanne educates the children in line with current Victorian Curriculum requirements. Leanne uses resources guided by Victorian Department of Education and Training's framework.

Year 4 students will receive 2 1/2 hours of education. They will be split into gender groups for 30 minutes. Year 3 students will receive a 1 hour session.

Session dates are as follows:

Monday 17th July - Classes A, C and D

Thursday 14th July - Classes B and E

This year we ask that you email your child's teacher as soon as possible to OPT OUT if you do not wish for your child to participate.
