Year 7 Art during Remote Learning!

Our Year 7 students have been looking around their homes to find new, innovative ways in which they can create art this semester.

Students have begun learning about the colour wheel and colour theory by arranging a variety of colourful items into the correct visual order, as well as creating still-life compositions with certain colour schemes. 

They are not only learning terms related to colour theory such as monochromatic, harmonious, and complementary; they have also been practising composing balanced and interesting images using photography as their creative medium. 

The students will be turning their still life images into inspiration for a drawing composition later in the term and I look forward to seeing some more wonderful work from our talented students!
