World Teachers Day

Last Friday, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day - a day to say thank you to every member of our academic staff, and to every member of staff who, directly or indirectly, support our academic team, or create experiences which enhance the academic journey of our students.

As a tribute to our support staff or "angels", Mr Ryan arranged for an artist to visit the school to paint a set of angel wings on the windows of the library. He then asked that support staff pop by to have their photo taken. There was also a mobile set of wings circulated by members of the Staff Wellbeing Consultative Group.

Students also joined in to thank some of the "angels" around the school, jotting down their thanks which will be delivered to staff this week. Here are a few of the students thanks:

A big thank you to Andrew Ryan for the effort he put into celebrating World Teachers' Day this year.

Melbourne Cup Fever

On Tuesday, Melbourne Cup fever officially descended on KWS! Our Senior School students dressed in their finest race day attire and the Fashions on the Field and KWS Cup made for some thrilling lunch time entertainment!

Congratulations to Georgia Zatta for taking out first place in the Fashions on the Field in her jockey outfit and to Richards House for trotting their way over the finish line in what made for a very intense KWS Cup!
