Congratulations for the outstanding performances from all six of our basketball teams this trimester. In the final round, our Junior B team are playing off for 7 v 8, and the Open A, Inter B ,and Inter C teams for 3 v 4. Following these amazing efforts, the Open Cs and Inter Bs both made it all the way through to the CaSSSA premiership final! The results to these games will be posted on the Mount Alvernia Sports Instagram page. Wishing these teams the very best!

Our Open A team competed in the Championship Schools basketball tournament over the September holidays. Unfortunately, we did not achieve the result we wanted, losing a tough semi-final match against Matthew Flinders Anglican College. However, the girls fought back to win the bronze medal for Division 3 – well done!

We are very proud of the commitment to games and training throughout the season, and hope to continue this in 2021!
