Today we will be talking about excluding and bullying. Who knows what bullying is? Now, who knows what excluding is?
For the people that do not know what bullying is, bullying is when an unwanted behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Now for the people that don’t know what excluding is. Excluding is when someone is expelling or kept out of things like games, parties, learning, and more on purpose. First of all these problems are happening at our school and we need your help to stop this behavior.
Grade 4s have been working on solutions for these two problems that are happening at our school but we need lots of help from you. Now how are you going to help?
Well, you can help by not excluding others and if you see someone excluded go and ask if they want to play. It's always kind to ask and if your friend says ‘no’ leave them alone.
You can also stop bullying by telling a trusted adult or teacher if you get bullied.
If you see someone getting bullied don’t just stand there, always take action and help the person that is getting bullied. This is all in your hands, so help us stop bullying and excluding happening at our school.

A CALL TO ALL OF OUR TALENTED PARENTS
You may have noticed that we will be holding our MPS trivia night and silent auction on
Friday 26 October.
I hope it's marked in your diary!
We know that we have a lot of talented parents at Murrumbeena and we are seeking your help to give our silent auction a more personal touch. If you can crochet a blanket, paint a landscape, sew a patchwork quilt, build a bench seat, make a herb garden or showcase any other talent, we would like to hear from you.
Let's get some of those items you can't get at Chadstone into our auction!
It would be great if you could let us know if you can help with prizes, as this assist with our planning.
If you can help, please contact Amanda Sinclair (ajsinclair9@gmail.com or 0438518859)
